Re[4]: SONY E:61:00 ERROR

This worked for my parent's digital camera...error code 61:00 and fuzzy picture.
They had already ordered a new one and I tried hitting the lens with the palm of my hand (3 times) and also using my finger to wiggle the lens a little. It was like magic...I turned it back on...no error message and the picture was clear. They almost fell over. THANKS! 8-26-06

  Thought everyone was being sarcastic... hit the camcorder with my hand 3 times on the lens cap and the darn thing focuses again and the E:61 error went OFF. Don't expect this fix to last, but HEY THANKS
