I am having the same problem with my JVC DVC. It is Model No. GR-D270U /Serial No. 179V0667. It is not being recognized by my computer. I am running XP and I get nothing. No window for found new hardware. I got it as an out of box special so I was not able to get an owners manual for it. Have you gotten your problem fixed Ram? Do you have any suggestions? I have a video on here that I really want to publish online and I am being stymied at every turn. If you or anyone can help me it would greatly appreciated.
