Re: Error Codes Assistance

I have a Sony DSC 40 digital camera. A couple of days back it has started making a whirring noise every time I switch it on to take photographs or shoot a movie. Whereas, if I try to view photogragraphs in the view mode it does not make any noise. So to summarise, everytime the lens comes out I hear this whirring noise. It also gives an error code, which is E61:20.

Any help will be much appreciated.
