Re[2]: Error Codes Assistance

I too am having the C:31:22 error messages appear on my Sony DCR-TRV900. As suggested in the manual, I have replaced the battery and the tapes several times but the message continues to come up. Sometimes the camera may play for a moment or two before displaying the message, but most times as soon as I turn it on, either in the camera or VTR area, it displays the C:31:22 error message. The camera has been doing this for several weeks.
