Home | Previous messageHi. In fact I'd like to take you up on your offer of error code assistance. I just bought a Sony Betacam UVW-1200 videocassette player at an auction. But I get the error code 02-694 when I try to play a tape. When I try fast forward or reverse, I get the codes 02-594 and 02-554 respectively. Any ideas? - Patrick

All of these error codes indicate problems with the supply and takeup reel motors in the deck -- time to seek out a service center. |
