i have the same problem i'd barely used my camcorder i day i decided to use it but then i can't get any image only the sound were abloe to pick up, i bought mine at SEARS 2 yrs ago, i'd tried everything i can but i gave up... Who can help me to provide Quality Repair... please help Ray

I wanted to use my GR-D73u Digital Mini DV camera just dec 25 xmas but it always says LENS cap on the lcd and but it is already taken off but nothing appears just black and white blurrs. i record nothing but black and see nothing but black... but when i play previous tapes ack everything is fine and i see the images great .Can u help me ? i live in burlington ky 41005. thank you

I saw a post from you somewhere about info for fixing Lens Cap error, I have a JVC DV GR800U with the same issue. Worked fine one day then poof. Thank you very much
