Re[2]: Error Codes Assistance (2881)

Hello;
I just ran into the same problem with my Hitachi DVD-CAM. I own a Hitachi 550A

With the -RAM disc, I get "Disc Access" followed by one of the following messages (seemingly randomly):
--Error has occurred. Please restart.
--Error has occured. Please reinsert a disc.
--Error has occurred. Error code No. 2881 Please read the manual.
The last is most common.

Anyone hear of a fix for this yet.

  Use -R dvd's and not +RW
