This is only a matter of time as i too have the same problem and have scoured the net in search of this and once i have the answer i will forward the patch and instructions to replace the firmware ( 9.0.43 , 9.0.48 and 9.0.50) I hope this helps don't give up yet it is salvagable.....

my mp4 player is having some problems so my mp4 number is a 9.0.50 so will you help me get over this thanks who ever bless me with this problem. Can you please forward the information to me too.
