Eric sent me the files, I uploaded them on a website so he doesn't have to keep emailing them out. Here is the website (this board wont let you paste websites so remove the spaces)
h t t p:// home.comcast.net/ ~dande76530 /Convergence.html
Then right click on each link and click "Save As."
Also, if you do a search on electronix.com for "STK392-150" you'll find the part for $9.99.
Good luck

Tracy - 27th May 2007 21:39 Hi Nicole,
Our TV just crapped out on us. Seems to be the same convergence issue. I want to thank you for making the information readily available. I can't begin to thank you...the hubby likens using the internet for such info to stopping to ask for directions!!! It's a man thing! He has a degree in electronics so fixing it is not a problem. You just saved us a ton of time and at least one argument!
Thanks Again!
Tracy

mitch - 13th Aug 2007 10:45 The link works fine, you didn't remove all the spaces.
I have done all these things to try to fix my av-48wp30.
The only thing left to replace is the convergence module, the part with sheet metal sheilding around it.
I really don't want to go there so I looked around and found the entire convergence board with all the components on it.
The cost is 160 bucks with a 20 dollar core charge.
It's at andrewselectronics(dot)com and it's in stock.
I haven't got it yet but that's my next step.
If you don't want to hassle with soldering and don't mind paying 180 bucks, then this is the way to go.
Just plug it in.

I had a problem with my TV colors not lining up. One day I turned it on and the green was out of wack. I checked this message board and replaced the STK chips, bad soldering and all led to me just giving up on that and buying a whole new Convergence Board ($185). I replaced the missing silver box on the new board and I just plugged this in and though now my Green lines up okay, my red is out of whack. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Can anyone help me? Did i miss a step? Frustrated......Bruce
