This is exactly the reason I'm giving away my Quick Fix for free. No one should have to pay for getting a defective piece of equipment fixed.

Many thanks to Pechorin's for providing this forum and the nice folks at Google for picking up this thread.

While I certainly do not advocate anyone physically abuse any delicate electronic equipment, the knuckle rap on the "Cyberlogo" has fixed more defective Sony DSC-S40s with the white/blank LCD screen problem than you can shake a stick at.
