Re[2]: Error Codes Assistance

I have the exact same problem with my Sony SLV-495 VCR. When I unplug it and plug it back in, the error code is 31805. If I do a soft power cycle, I get 30105 and if I hit eject, it is 32505. My workaround is I will leave it for a good hour or so, and then power it back on. Sometimes it will "catch" on the first try, then I'll hit play right away and it will work. Otherwise the head just spins up and nothing happens.

Please reply if you know the solution.
