Re: JVC service or questions

Hi, I have a JVC Mini DV Camera Model No. GR-D53AA Serial No. 069Y1277. I was using it last night to do some filming for a band and after filming a note came up on screen saying 'E03 Unit in safeguard mode, eject and reinsert tape'. Obviously I've tried doing this and also tried inserting other tapes and leaving it to rest but nothing has worked. I was told this may have been caused because of the condensation as the filming was done at night in a huge marquee. I'm not sure if this is the reason or not. I also can't find my manual so am at a loss as to what do do. Are you able to help me with this? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

  E-03 is a warning that the cassette take up spindle is not turning properly, with advice on possible reasons sent via DIRECT e-mail.
