Lens Cap Problem JVC GR-D53AA

Jeremy Posted May 08, 2007

Camera claims "Lens Cap" is on, when it isn't.

Hi there - I've noticed that many people have had this similar problem, though I can't find concrete advice on how to rectify it. Occasionally I turn on the camera and it claims the lens cap is on, even when it isn't. If you could help me figure this out, I would be forever in your debt! Thanks

PLEASE NOTE!! - Anyone requesting this info "HAS" to request it via the "POST NEW MESSAGE" facility at the top of every screen "AND NOWHERE ELSE", as if not done this way the request being made will not appear as new because it will take up the date of the posting it is made under, and because this can be from some time in the past will be ignored.

RE:- THE LENS CAP PROBLEM AND REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE. Please note that if anyone is intending to make a similar request please make it by clicking on "MY" red link and providing your e-mail address in the box provided, do "NOT" make the request by just clicking on the blue Re:2 lens cap problem, (or whatever) as if you do I will be unaware you have made the request. Also note you must give the model number and an indication of the fault, as if you dont all I see is something like "please send me the info as well" which tells me nothing of what the complaint is about, as I dont see the the posting the request was made under.

Hi did you get any reply on this?

Anyone experiencing the lens cap problem should "ALWAYS" request advice via the "Post new message" facility at the top of every page, do "NOT" make a posting under the May 2007 heading which everything in this areas is and likewise very unlikely to be seen.
