If these are genuine UK TV's then they wont work on the TV system where you are because they operate on the PAL (I) system, that is the audio sub carrier is at +6mhz above the vision carrier, whereas according to my info the TV system in Ghana is PAL (G), that having a sound sub carrier of +5.5Mhz and thats why you cant get the picture and sound at the same time. "Some" circuits allow you to re-tune the sub carrier oscillator to correct this, but unfortunately I am unaware if that would apply to the sets you mention, as it might not be adjustable. (and being the more likely!)
