Me too - same thing. 1999 Sony Trinitron KB-35S42 35". Blinking light. Sound works, no picture.

Web searches have made me believe the 'IK video path' is defective. Is this an affordable fix? Something I can do myself? The TV isn't worth much, so professional repair is out I'm sure. Should I just throw this huge thing out?
