If a blonde soccer-mom like me can take out 25 screws from the video camera, pull it completely appart, find the connecter to disconnect, and screw in all 25 screws back in their proper holes, turn in back on and it's re-set and FIXED ... ANYONE can do this! I tried the oven technique first, didn't work, so instead of waiting for my husband to come home to take it appart, I just did it and I don't know if it will happen again, but now I know what to do. Thanks!
