Re[3]: Sony DSC-S40 white LCD screen problem

Hello oh good people. Its nice seeing people proviode help out of kindness. I was looking on the web to see if anyone else has had the sony white screen problem and long behold 100s of ppl are having the same problem. I see lotsa people know how to fix it. Could someone please tell me how to get the LCD back in working condition? The screen tapping didnt work for me. The screen is on when I turn the camnera on but it lasts for only 2 secs and goes white. i REALLY appreciate all your help and respect your time.
