I would bet that your TV shares the same circuit board with the others. Just a different size screen. I would try the capacitor replacement, it won;t hurt it if it is wrong.

  I tried it but it did not work. I will try a TV repair shop but here in Saltillo, Mexico, I am not sure they will be able to help as the TV was bought in Canada and I haven't seen any JVC distributor around here. Will see.
