My trv22 has been collecting dust for over 3 years. Every six months I have tried to gently slap it, drop it, pound it and generally punish it. Last week I pitched it across the room towards my waste basket. It carrened off a wall and missed the bucket ... but for the sake of nostalgia I gave it one more go... and it worked. So, before throwing it away, why not try throwing it. It worked for me.
