Re[2]: E04 Unit in safeguard mode

To Steve and others - I tried Steve's suggestion and it worked. It appears that the tape I was using may have created a jam in the camcorder. I took the tape out and opened and closed the tape compartment several times before putting the tape back in. The Safeguard message went away and the camera appears to be working fine, Before trying this I was ready to scrap the JCV camera and go buy a SONY. Thanks for the Tip!!!
