Re[2]: JVC service or questions

Hello, I have a JVC BR-S811U and S611U editing recorder that won't play or record. I put a tape in and it will rewind and fastforward but when I press play or record it ejects the tape. Most of the time I get a error code 32 but sometimes I get an error code 58. What do the error codes mean and is it worth fixing this old machine? Thanks a million.
