i too had this problem. i tried to "flip it." it snapped in...but was not a viable solution to the problem. it would eventually "spin out" too.

i went to the camera-repair store and they said...sight-unseen, that it owuld cost about $211 dollars. a bit high for such a small piece. can we buy one and fix it ourselves?
