Very true ramesh.. same happened to me with s1 is , shutter problem and ccd.. deendayal was demanding 1800 bucks. Canon Care is ready to do it for free and takes 1 month. (time is same fr deendayal also)

  Hi nagaraj, I am having S2 IS canon cameraa, it is also having same issure shutter problem. I am see old photos but when i take new photo blank screen coming. I know the shutter is not opening.In hyderabad canon service center guy asked 4000/-.Tell me is the same problem u had and Blore malleswaram center done it for free....? Do u know any service center at hyderabad...?

    Hi All, i am getting lot of mails regarding this problem, and my mail box is flodding with lot of mails. so here i am giving the explanation and address to avoid mails to my mail box. Problem : It is called shutter problem.May be camera shutters got struct [not opening]due to not utlized for long period. Canon service Center Addr: 135, First Floor, Brigade Towers , Brigade road.
