My JVC comcorder when is switched on it beeps and stops working. The LCD displays "safeguard mode" and 01. The Tape case does not open to remove the tape. I removed the battery and reinserted but the problem persists.

Help me to solve the problem. At my area there is not JVC agent to assist.
