  Seems like JVC has the same problems with different models.
  The model I own is AV36F704 and as we were watching a show, the screen went black and a green light started blinking, as If we had a timer on.
  Called cust. serv. and referred me to a repair shop. Came over, pick up the tv., took it for repair and cost me $245.00 I know it was still cheaper than buying a new one, but it's not fair they don't recall their merchandise or fix the same problem everybody is having and with different models!
  As an advice, call JVC cust. serv.
