Re[2]: Another E:61:00 Success Story

This is incredible!
My camera showed the E:61:00 error message and I was so mad...
I let it alone for a couple of weeks in denial.
Today, I found this crazy method and I thought... it's already screwed up, if I'm paying for this, it'll cost the same if something else goes bad.
I banged my camera 3 or 4 times against my bed holding the lens and the body carefully but applying some force.
I turned it on and there was a funny sound in coming from the lens. The error remained. I turned it off and tried it again. I did this 2 times... then in the 3rd try it started to work!
Thanks a lot!!!! You saved me 200 bucks and I hope my message helps someone else.
