My 60" TV MD#KF60WE610 was $3500 purchased 12/12/03 with Defected Optical Block: shows blogs of blue areas. Sony mailed out Confidential memorandum to the service dealer to fix under warranty only those who calls to complaint. By the way that wasn't for consumer to review. Sony post mfr defects on sony.com only, so if you are avg consumer don't check the mfr's website FIRST when Sony product with problem, you might be out of luck like me. It will cost $2,000 for repair the TV and Sony won't repair because I was out of luck by 2 month. They offered to EXCHANGE the TV, but don't let the word EXCHANGE
