Model Number - GR-D30U Serial Number - 098U0491 My unit just stopped powering up all together. It has not been used more than 20 hours and it is now dead. I am not sure how this happened, as I have two other camcorders and this was just put away and was to be a backup for the other two units. I have checked the battery, it appears to be fine, I have checked the power supply and again, it appears to be fine. This is not right. I should expect this to be a better unit than it is. I have literally sat on this for a year and a half after reading all of the bad reviews people are listing and my surprisingly terrible service when I called to get this warranted. I am not sure what you are going to do, but I think this unit is not built well and I should have been entitled to at least a free repair or exchange. Please tell me how you intend to try to help me.
