Hi, I was given a used JVC Camcorder serial # 119v3810///model # gr-d72u and this appears to be fairly new----I thought I was loosing my mind when I hooked it up and could not get the player to record---I am getting an error message that the lens cap is on---but in fact its really off---The way I am reading all the messages posted on this page---it appears to be an ongoing issue for alot of people and what a shame--I am sure this thing was expensive when bought---is there anything I can do to get some help in fixing this or can you lead me in the right direction of what I should do to have this fixed..
