It worked! My son gave me his old JVC AV 32980 that quit just like the others in this post.I haven't fixed a TV since they had tubes and were hand wired so I took the chassis to a local shop and showed them C926,the capacitor to replace. They had the 1000uf 50v capacitor and put it in for $10.00 while I waited. The guy said that that fix probably would not work, but he checked the old capacitor and it tested bad. After I replaced the chassis I called the shop back to say what a good job they did and how good the picture looked! I'm so glad Al Gore invented the internet. My capacitor was black and right near another that was smaller, but right where the posts said it was, right of dead center about 5 o'clock.
