Just to help others, the previous solution was with a JVC GY-DV500 with an error code 3300 (err_3300) received after the tape wouldn't eject (tape won't eject). I assume this may also apply to error code 3200 as both indicate tape loading problems, and my situation sounds identical to the above problem.
