Oh, forgot to mention, there is a small pin hole on the bottom of the V505. This is a reset button for the internal power board. Each time you try to power the unit and it fails, then insert a pin or something that fits in the hole. You know when you activate the switch because you can feel it click. Hold it for 30 seconds with the power plugged in and battery installed. After you remove the pin, then unplug the power supply and remove the battery. Then reinsert the power and battery and try to start again. Also, try to cycle the LCD lid a few times open and close. Sometimes the wires and insulation get old and short out. Opening and closing will kinda move things around until it works again.
