I AM AN AUTHORIZED SONY CENTER CAMCORDER TECHNICIAN WANTING TO HELP OTHER TECHS IN REPAIRING CAMERAS.ALSO WILL HELP OTHERS FIND - RESEARCH PART NUMBERS- OR ORDER SONY PARTS FOR OTHERS.

    Hi, Did you ever find a new power supply for your Sony VTR? I have the same model and it just shuts down as soon as I plug it in so not sure if it's a power supply issue or an IC on the motherboard but I cant find anyone to repair it. Any luck with yours?

      Send it to Sony Repair. They replaced the power suppy and checked the VTR for around $240.00. works great now

  Hello, I am after some colour viewfinders ( micro-display )
  For a project i'm working on. I need to be able to supply a voltage and a video signal from my bullet camera ( pal system ) to get it to work. Is there such parts to buy?

    If u go to walmart and buy a cheap 10 to 20 dollor non esp cd player and change the part your self its easer

  I have a Sony DCR PC100 bought a couple of years ago. One day the cassette got stuck and the door would just not open. After giving up on it for a few months. I tried it again and it opened!
  I have the same problem again, but now its not opening anymore. Any help?

  Hi, i am doing a presentation using block diagram on any model of sony walkman, i am also goning to sugget posible ways of improving the model. I study Electronics and Communication Engineering at the London Metropolitan University.

  i have a sony vaio pcg k13 the cable that goes from the power button to the mother bored got damaged i can not find a part i do not whant to send it to sony cause they will charge me a lot of money to instal a simple part i was wondering if u know where i could get the part my self an install it myself

  have got a 1989 sony camcorder,ccd-f500e 8mm, no power wont eject when power cord is inserted completly dead. power suplly; ie adapter all good. please can anyone help.

    Hi I don't know what your problem is sorry, but I do have the same faulty camcorder as you only I know what is wrong with mine.... my faithful dog chewed the charger. So if you have no joy fixing yours maybe I could buy it for parts and the charger :) Please let me know... regards MIchelle x

  Any suggestions as to where one might find the manual for a ccdF70 Handycam? Can't figure out how to open the tape compartment to load the tape.
