I AM AN AUTHORIZED SONY CENTER CAMCORDER TECHNICIAN WANTING TO HELP OTHER TECHS IN REPAIRING CAMERAS.ALSO WILL HELP OTHERS FIND - RESEARCH PART NUMBERS- OR ORDER SONY PARTS FOR OTHERS.

  Hi, I'm not sure if you're still answering questions but I thought I'd give it a try. I recently got out my ccd-trv68 to record my son's football games but I notice that there is no sound but if I play back a previously recorded tape, the sound is ok. I'm looking to see how much it would be for parts or repairs for this unit.

  you're the right man, just saw your posting. i have a trv-120 with the same error codes everytime i put in a tape, runs about 3 seconds, then shows "C:31:23 or C:31:21, can you help me solve this problem. where are you located, do you accept cameras to be repaired. i trade for them often and they don't work most of the time. thank you randolph

  I purchased a JVC digital video camera 1 yr ago. It has orange and blue lines vertically on the screen and viewfinder. A picture eventually comes onto the screen if I keep it on for 30 min or so, but the picture is all red in colour. The tech wants to charge $75 just to look at it and he said he may not even be able to fix it. Do you know what could have happened? If so what would be cheaper Repair-new one.   HI.
  I have two sony dxf viewfinders. That the yokes or bayonette is giving me problems one is locked the other will not lock. I am looking for the service manuals as well.
  How abouth a service manual for a dxc 537 studio back. I have the second version of the manual I need thew older version. I can not lock the camera up with the 26pin cable but if I run an external one to the sync on the back it locks up fine. (yes I have checked the cables and the heads, ccu's, it's the back.)
