I lost the power supply/charger of my Sony DSC-HC30 camera to Katrina. Can you help me locate availability and price? Can mine be repaired since it was underwater, especially saltwater? Thanks.

Hi I have a V5000 and a V99 both vintage Hi-8 camcorders. Cosmetically they look very well since they are just in storage. But both will power up but have no image. can you help me get them working? Thanks!

The Sony V5000E Camera, has a redbutton on the lefthand . This is the button ment to start or stop the camera recording. There is a little black locker wich shifts over this red button, because this is the poweron locked situation. It blocks any action you'll try, until you slide this lock switch upwards, the red button for recording is free, you 'll have a picture in the viewfinder and you can record with the camera part of the V5000E. The power needs to be on, before you do this. Oi, hope his helps you on your way. This Sony V5000E is verry capable. And with a analog videodigitizer, wich come verry cheap nowa days, your on your way to become a multimedia lover off all the nice things. Manual will help, if you walk in to problems. And I have about a 1000 manuals, with mine toys. Bue, bye George

Wow, so glad I stumbled on to you on the net. My daughter somehow shorted the i.link port on my TRV27. It blew out the board in my PC (easily replaced) but when I contacted Sony they want $269 to repair it! Ridiculous! Do you have or now how I could get a "dead/broken" trv27 (or I assume a TRV16, 18 or 25) to do a little dissect and replace. Or can the I/O board just be purchased an replaced. Do you have any ideas?

    Thanks SO much,

    Mark

I have a few Sony AC replacement power cords; they are from "Tenma" they are marked as "Sony type replacement power cord 18 ga. 6FT/ #23-050".
They are rectangle approx. 9/16 X 9/16 inch with an extruding key, and four (4) round holes 2 of which are conductors and 2 are empty.
I want to offer these for sale, but I don’t know what model they work with. Most of the stuff that came along with them was from the late1960’s thru mid 1980’s
I can send pictures if you like. Any help that you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.

    Respectful,

    Art. Billings
