Hi Have completed a reoair on MY! dcr-trv80 unit ( firewire connector broke) which was a nightmare to get at. On re-assembly the camera all works fine including photo mode , but when the bottom tape cover is moved across, the motor loading on the cassette mechanism does not operate. I have removed the cassette module and tested the motor and it works ok. I have also verified that the microswith on the door open is operations right to the end of the planar cable.. any ideas.. mst grateful for any help
Its a bin job if I cant get a cassette into it ...

Hi, I only need the small plastic spindle that holds the cd in place and goes on the motor assembly of the Sony mavica mvccd 500. I have contacted them and they will not sell that part without the motor assembly and it costs 147.97. I could get it repaired if I could get ahold of that small part. Can you help or do you have any ideas. I have already spent about $600. on the camera and it is only three years old.

Hello. I am looking for Sony ICF-2010 parts. Antenna, battery covers and knobs. I would also be interested in buying larger quantities, depending on the price

Dear Sir,
My name is Jaycee and I worked for a company in South Africa that was the official Sony repair workshop. The company was called the Broadcast Workshop.
I am currently in UAE, Dubai and I am looking for assistance in seeking employment in the same industry repairing broadcast equipment. Is there any body or companies that you may put me into contact with? I would love to work with Sony, but somehow with the reports I have heard, Sony are re-organizing their entire operation. Any suggestions would help.
I appreciate your assistance.
Yours sincerely Jaycee Milner Mobile +97 1 50 344 1340

Hi, I'm looking for a part for a pd150- the little 1" x 1 1/2" plate that screws into the bottom of the camera (with four screws) that you screw the tripod plate into.
It broke tonight and I have a wedding to tape Tuesday- I need it ASAP obviously! Thanks for any help.

Interesting, since the cover of the battery compartment to my DCS-W1 will not close either because the plastic catches on the door and base of the camera are broken too. Does anyone know if this is a DSC-W1 issue? What is the part number to get an replacement?
- Re[3]: SONY ORIGINAL PARTS
cindy - 11th Aug 2006 20:20 My daughter dropped my DSC-W1 camera on the floor and broke it. The battery compartment would not close. I took it to the camera shop and they have to replace the outer shell. It is going to cost her $149.99 to fix it.....
