Hello, I have a JVC GR DVM 50 camcorder. The dial that selects "Play,Camera,Off,ect.." and the inner press pad that controls FFW, stop, Rewind, ect.. have fallen off. When I took the camera out of the bag the 2 peices just fell out, I do not see any other peices. The time prior the camera worked fine and was fine when I put it away. nothing on the camera or the 2 peices looks broken or damaged, but I cannot figure out how to re-attach them. I am hearing that this is a common problem now with these cameras. Any help on how to fix or where to send it to be repaired and estimated cost would be appreciated. Thank You In Advance, Tyler

I have a JVC Model # GR-D33U Serial Number: 178Z0809. I would like an e-mail as well on how to get a "free" repair since my camcorder also has the "lens cap on" problem.

Hey, i get the error message E01, to re-insert the battery. I have done so, and left it out for a few minutes before putting it back in etc. Any ideas as to why it is doing this? I really need to get this stuff off the tape and onto my computer. I cant even eject the tape.
