My JVC UX-V6V doesn't show any display but the orange backlight is still ok. I highly appreciate your response. Thanks, more power!

I have a JVC compact component system, FS-S77B. I have had it for 6 months. It's been working fine until recently. I tried ejecting a dvd, but it did not work and now the display reads tray error. All other functions work properly except anything in cd/dvd mode. I've tried reading the manual, letting the machine cool off, but nothing works. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to find a service center?

I recently bought a JVC RX-D402B AV Receiver with HTML I/O. I have a Panasonic DVD player attached via the component inputs and it works fine. My CATV converter is a Scientific Atlanta Explorer Model 8300HD with HD DVR and HDMI output. My problem is, when I connect the CATV video through either its component or HDMI output to the Receiver input, via either component or HDMI in, the result is a blank screen. The TV indicates "no input". When I connect the CATV to the receiver via S-video, it works, although at S-video picture quality. I can bypass the receiver, connecting the CATV directly to my TV via either component or HDMI, and it works fine. JVC warranty support told me my settings were correct, and that there were no reported compatibility issues. They sent me to the local warranty service contractor who could not test the HDMI sections, but told me my problem was probably a CATV converter setup issue. I performed the advanced setup procedure on the CATV and it made no difference. Can you help?

I have a JVC AV-61S902, the first of the DLP line for JVC (I think I bought it in 2001). Since I have owned it once every week or so the TV would turn off about 20 seconds or so after I turned it on. It was always a pain, since it had to cool down for 1 minute before I could turn it on again. I put up with it since I didn't watch it much. Now, four years later, it does this everytime I turn it on (20 seconds after turn on it turns off...before any picture can be viewed). Any ideas???? The local JVC rep wants 300 bucks + parts just to come look at it. I get the feeling this problem isn't all that uncommon.

I have a JVC VCR rocorder. I have followed the instructions for auto time based on a local TV station. I shut the VCR off for it to go through the process, however it doesn't work. Also when I go to the date and time put in the correct date then press ok, then go to auto time set on, the date and time goes off and then it says shut the VCR off and it will set the time. I did that, but it just leaves the horizontal bars on the window. My VCR model is HR S5902U

Hello; I have a JVC AV27D303 television. Channels 2 through 6 were periodically gone or back but now are out completely when I try to bring them back. 14 and 15 are here and gone periodically too. The rest of the channels are usually very clear, but they would occassionally get bad reception. Now they are getting worse but do come bakc. It seems that there is a progression of problems that will eventually result in the tv getting no channels. I verified that it is not the cable service because another TV tested on that same cable works fine. I would like to get an idea of what the problem is and whether it would be worth repairing. Thank you for your help.
