I have a JVC Model # GR-D30U. I try to record, but it says the lens cap is on, and although the lens cap isn't on the camera, I cannot see any images.

i have a jvc av-27920, it will turn on automatic when i plug it in. then about 5 seconds later it shuts off. it will sometimes let me turn it on once more but again it will shut itself off after 5 secs. then it will not turn on at all. the timer light will flash non-stop. do you know why this is? please help. thanks gary epicsling@yahoo.com

Hi,my jvc gr-d290u keeps on going into safe after its turn on for ten seconds.I reattach batteries like instructed to five miutes,but still does the same thing.If you know the problem to this i greatly appreciated thanks!!!

I have a AV 48WP74 I ART Pro......When turn on the TV the picture is fine within 5 min. I have vertical lines across the the screen. What is the problem and has ther been a re call on this unit???? Craig

Hi there, I still have my JVC compact VHS recorder model GR-AXM300 that I bought in Dec. 1998. It still works great and hasn't broken down at all. My problem is I don't know how to connect it to my PC to convert this 8mm video into a digital DVD. Now I know this can be done because I usually have a local company convert my tapes to digital files and it's costing me ALOT of money. I would rather spend the money to get the right equipment to do it myself at home. Can anyone help me? What hardware/software, cables, etc. do I need to install on my laptop to hook my old camcorder to my laptop to convert the video files? Thanks in advance! Lisa
