Hi, I have a JVC model AV-21ME the shuts down on it's own. When it shuts down there is a horizontal line across the tube and the timer light on the TV flashes. The only way to get it to power back up is to push the power button on the TV the use the remote or push a channel button on the TV to turn it on. When it does come on it is on only for a few seconds, it shuts down and the timer light comes on again. The TV was working fine up to the point that it started to shut down on its own. Any assistance as to what the problem might be would be appreciated.

Model GR-D30U, it won't show the picture when starting up. It seems to be working fine otherwise. Help would be appreciated much. Thanks, Dan.

Hi Stacy, I have a JVC AV-20FD24 TV/DVD combo set. I've recently come across a problem where the TV shuts off on it's own. I've tried to use both the remote and the local power button but the television shuts down within seconds of me turning it on. I've noticed that if I leave it unplugged overnight then plug it in the next day, it stays on for about 10 minutes before powering down again.I'm guessing there is an issue with the power supply but I wanted to do a quick online search to see if I could find any information before I bring in the TV for service. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Tony.
