JB38 - 23rd Aug 2007 15:26 E-03 indicates a problem with the cassette take up spindle, this can be something as simple as a faulty cassette being used, however if not, then it really requires the casing to be opened for a more detailed investigation.

Hello,
I have a problem with my JVC television model AV-27F46.Apparently it does not shut off either using remote or power button in unit so I always ended up unplugging it from the power outlet. When I press the power button, all it does is turn the sound and power indicator off but Video is still visible.
I will appreciate any response.
Thanks, Michael

Ann - 11th May 2009 20:16 I have the same bigscreen here in the shop but I have no remote control nor a way of finding one it seems. Do you have the # on your remote control? I even contacted JVC and they couldn't tell me anything about the remote for this foreign set. Did you ever get an answer to your question about a schematic? Thanks!

rita ramazio - 22nd Aug 2007 17:53 I have a JVC TV after about 15 mins to 20 mins in use, it turns off. There is nothing programmed on the timer. I have tried pulling out the plug over night and it doesn't help. Is it worthwhile to pay for repairs? It was only 2 years old when this started to happen. I called you once and you said to take it in for repairs but wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a new one?
Thank, Rita Ramazio

I bought a JVC GR-244 over a year ago from Wal-Mart on line. I have had it hooked up to my PC as a camera for several months. I also left my tape inside the camera the whole time. PROBLEM: With the battery charged and a tape inside the camera, I am trying to record anything. When I play back using either the LCD or view finder, nothing show up. Not even stuff I recorded over the past year. I trying changing settings but nothing works. I just came back from buying NEW tapes and that didn't help. My next thing I am going to do is buy a Mini DV cleaner tape. If this doesn't work I don't know what to do!

Cassandra - 22nd Aug 2007 19:30 My Panasonic CD Stereo System SA-AK600 just started not working this afternoon. It read F61 when I try to turn it on. The CD will not open along with the cassette tape. It just turns on and shows F61. Do you know what is wrong and what should be done?
Thank you,
Cassandra
