We have a JVC rear-projection big screen TV, with picture in picture, model AV-50D501 or 60D501 (there is a discrepancy between the basic tag and the paper labels on the rear of the TV). It was manufactured in April 2000 (Code PIMS). After coming on, which can take as much as 30 seconds, the screen will get darker the longer we view it. Can this situation be repaired easily, or is it time for a new TV after such a short time? Mike Gates

I have a JVC AV-50D501. The unit takes a while to show a nice picture then sometimes it fades just into a black screen. Also I have a two inch black line at the bottom of the screen. Is their anything I can do to correct this problem myself. Thanks, Jeanne

Hello, I am receiving an error message on my JVC El Kameleon cd player i dont know the number at this moment but the face goes up and down and the buttons pop out from the inside and its completly flat when you turn it off...i hope that helps some.....the ERROR CODE that iam getting is 225!! Hello, my name is Allen. I appreciate your help. I have a jvc digital video model # GR-DV500U. It seems I have a DVD that adobe premiere wont open, I think the DVD needs to be digitized. I wanted to play the DVD to the camera (the camera acting as a passageway) thus digitizing it in order to send it to adobe premiere. Is that possible. If so how do I do it???? Thanks for the help.

Hi - I have an AV32R4 (3 days old) but can not get a feed from the audio out terminals at the back. I have set the Surround Sound to let the TV know it is the centre (and it should use the external speakers for L&R), but no -go. any ideas? thanks alec

JVC 35" Model 35790 purchased in 1997 TV guide plus was working OK. Put in new TV stand, and unhooked TV. Upon re-hooking up, TV guide plus will not work. TV is hooked up exactly same (I only disconnect at the wall; did not unhook anything on back of TV) Keeps telling me to input setup. I have used my real zipcode 68116, I tried the 99999 for zipcode, tried 00000 for zipcode, unplugged TV overnight. Have done tuner setup, then TV Guide setup. TV works fine except for TV guide plus. No cable box used. Any suggestions? Thanks Neal

hello...! i got a jvc model no. GR-D50AS from dubai last year. i was working fine but one day when i opened it after charging it the whole night it said the unit was in safegaurd mode and had the error E04. it told me to eject and reinsert the tape. i did that, but afterwards when i tried to eject the tape it did not come out. so my basic problem is error E04 unit in safe gaurd mode and of the ejector not popping out...hope u can help me on this...i need to use my camcoder badly..please!
