Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR

I also have a Mavica FD81 and I'm getting the same error. Someone posted and said that it was a faulty floppy drive. Is there anyway to replace it? If there is, what is the part number for it?

    I've upgraded my PC to windowsXP, however, teh disk I have with my FD90 is 95/98/and NT compatible. Any idea how I can get a disk for the Windows XP?

  I have the FD-90 and I get this 13:01 error ONLY when I use diskette with the media stick in it. Diskettes work fine. The media sticks work fine in another Sony. Bending prongs and erasing contacts do NOT work. I didn't try formatting because the sticks work just fine -- so what is the problem and what do I do?

      I just got my MVC-FD90 and when I use the memory stick/floppy disk adaptor and stick it in the camera it beeps and says "FORMATTING ERROR", after I formatted it...it did the same thing, I formatted it at least 20 time and I still have the problem....If anyone knows how to fix it please email me at chicklover563@hotmail.com .....thankz
