Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC GR DVL310 video camera that won'y playback the tapes i record. I can record no problem, but just cant playback. If i rewind while trying to play the tape, i get spots of colour on an otherwise blue screen. Cleaned it with a tape cleaner and still nothing. Any help you can provide would be great.

    left it alone for a while, put in a new tape, and it worked fine. the old tape was worthless, but the new one worked.
