I have a JVC TV model LT40X787 that just started turning off about 2 seconds after turning on. Makes a clicking sound when it shuts down. Any idea if this economically repairable?

My husband puchased a JVC GR-D30 Digital Video Camera for me Christmas of 2003. We have not used it a whole lot. The last time we used it was 06/14/2005 and it worked fine. My husband tried to use it last week and when he opened the viewfinder all he got was a black screen. He did have audio, and we could play back what we previously recorded, but he could not record. It would actually record audio but not video. The warranty is up on the camera. The nearest service center is in Baltimore, MD, but we live in Central PA. Is there a simple solution to this or are we going to have to send it away to get it fixed. I'm afraid we'll have more in fixing it than we paid for it. Thank you

Hi,can you please help me? I have a jvc model# tv-13142w 13 inch combo vcr tv. I just had dish network installed and now the v-chip is blocking most of my channels. I do not know the password I bought it used a long time ago. I tried everything in the manual I downloaded from jvc website and it did not tell me much at all. It only tells you how to set it. I thought there would be an override code but there is not. Thank You in advance for any suggestions you have.

Hi - We have a JVC AV-32WFP1EK that keeps going into standby mode. if you turn it on at the front of the TV the red standby light comes on. If you then turn it on using the remote, the green light comes on, followed by rapid audible clicks then after a few seconds, the red light comes on again. I wondered if it is worth having it fixed. Many thanks. Andy

I have a JVC AV-32050 its 10 years old. I have never had any problems with this tv until now. NOw I needto use a digital converter box to see the channels. I don't have any cable or satelite. And now a big black square is coming out covering most of the picture. When I turn off the digital converter I can see some local channels. I thought it might be some kind of block. But even when I put a dvd movie it is doing the same. when I turn it on or change the channel the square goes away for a second or two but then comes back. I have tried to remove it through the menu options but it won't come off. Please help.
