Re: JVC service or questions

I am based at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. I am using JVC Camcoder GR-DVL 45A, Serial no: 11540098. It is being used since 1999 but sparingly. Since a year it has developed a problem of intermittently showing E04 on the LCD and does not work further. By luck it works, some times, by switching off/remove and replace the cassette. I do not want to give for reapir as my experience with other products indicate, my luck of repair. After going through some web sites, I am going to try to use a new JVC cassette and utilise a head cleaning cassette. However I am not getting them in India. Could you please let me know the reason and remedy for the failure and the places in India where we get JVC parts/cassettes.

    I have purchased a JVC Handcam Model from Belgium in year 2001 from that time I am facing the problem with the same. In past I have written for the same and was given a contact addresses at Delhi but sorry to write the experience with them was very poor. The person was not knowing the job at all and came back. I am facing a problem of getting an error E04 - remove battery and recharge system is in safe mode. Currently I am having an AC Adaptor of 7.2 Volts with 720 mah. In past I tired to get the battery for the same but sorry I gould not get the same but got 7.2 V 1300 mah but the Adaptor did not charge the same. During my last visit to Malysia I tried to get the battery or the adaptor but could not get the same . Do I hope to find a solution or junk the same after spending a lot of money. The other problem we face is to copy the contents of Mini DVD to CD or DVD I am sincerly trying my last try to get any solution for the same and hope that the company will give me a solution at the earliest.     I HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY JVC CAMCORDER I CAN'T USE IT BECAUSE I GET THE SAME MESSAGE EVERY TIME I TURN IT ON, "SAFEGUARD MODE ERROR E04"WHY I AM CONTACTING YOU IS ,I WONDERED IF YOU EVER GOT A SALUTION BECAUSE I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT ,I WOULD BE VERT GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW ,THANKYOU
