Please email me with the repair instructions for the 13:01 error. I do not use a memory stick, I use a floppy.

    Thanks

I have the error noted above. the Camera grinds away and is slow booting up. Now it says problems with main board.
Can you repair these cameras, and if so what would be cost?
I have been told be camera shop that Sony would charge more to fix camera than to purchase new camera. Everyone wants to sell photos. Problem is I have 4 hours photos - 100 frames- that I need to get off CD that were recorded prior to camera finally saying it would not work. Looking at Sony Mavica MVC CD500 for continuity in my photo archievs and system, however would like to repair the MVD-1000

Hi Eric, I take it from your note take your CD500 worked fine taking the 200+ photos? To really help I need more info, new sounds if any, time it take the error to show, type of cd used (cdr, cdrw), any other new actions the camera is taking. Some items to check. (1) Is the "eye" clean (2) check the cd hub the black thing the cd locks onto; for some reson the work loss, if you can move it at all without moving the larger ring then you found the couse. (3)do some testing with other cd's (4) some coumpters running windows 98 will read unfinalized cd's I will help you more should you need it, let me know if any thing worked Al
