Re: JVC service or questions

Hi, I have a GR-D72U JVC MiniDV camera. Recently I accidentally dunked the camera bag, with camera inside, underwater briefly. At first, I thought it was okay, as only a little moisture got in, but for the few days after it, it's gone through several different types of disfunction. Currently, I get the "E03 SAFEGUARD MODE/EJECT AND REINSERT TAPE" message. However, I'm unable to take the tape out... I open it and it whirs briefly but then winds down before the mechanism pops out. Is this a problem with the motor? Moisture inside? As far as I know there was no physical damage (ie, smacked against a rock) done whatsoever. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)
