Gentlemen:
My 1999 JVC MX-J30 Serial 124C2803 began buzzing on switch on and the tape recorder has stopped functioning. My local technician wants a repair charge equal to the cost of my system, almost $200, purchased at Fred Meyers, here in Eugene OR. This is a splendid compact stereo system which I would like to have repaired within reason. Please let me know how to have my MX-J30 fairly serviced.
