Hi

I have a Sony 10 disc changer that came with a second hand truck I bought. It has worked fine for a couple of weeks then I changed the discs and now whenever I press the CD button to get it started I get an Error 99 message and then nothing. I've tried re inserting the discs, checking they are inserted properly and even the tried and tested blowing it - to clear the dust and cover it in spit I think is the technical reason for this

Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated

    often times if you reset the rf modulator you can fix the problem. It is usually hidden somewhere under the dash or car seats, a little silver box, just find the hole in the side and press the button in with a paperclip to reset it. Otherwise I'm not really sure, I am still having problems with mine, sometimes if i disconnect the power to the changer for a long period of time i can plug it back in and it will work, but other times it doesnt cooperate, so I'm baffled.

  Same problem with my sony 10 cd changer
  Its in the trunk of a lincoln and i keep getting error message E-99 which i can't seem to able to translate. I have no idea what to do because i don't know what the problem is. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appriciated.

  Just bought a 97 town car and having same problem. If anyone gets any ideas on this please post them I would be extremely grateful
